Live poker The attacker reportedly used a “Somali Sword” similar to the one pictured above to slay two casino employees in Nairobi yesterday We’ve all heard horror stories of someone getting robbed or shot during a home game, or a losing gambler causing a fuss and perhaps an ill-advised fist-fight in a casino, but nothing is likely to compare to the bizarre and gruesome carnage that took place yesterday at a casino in Nairobi, Kenya. A Tanzanian gambler, John Barnabas Mchanga, was so incensed after losing the equivalent of $300 at the casino that he demanded to be given credit to continue gambling. When the female manager, Winfred Mbuvi, refused to comply, Mchanga left the building only to return with a dagger with which he proceeded to stab the 40 year old manager to death. He then turned his ire on security guard James Lutea, whom he also stabbed to death. According to Kenya’s Daily Nation, a second security guard, Kevin Ogada was also attacked and is currently in hospital in a “serious condition” Justic was meted out pretty quickly for Mchanga, however, as according to reports, fellow gambler at the City View Bar and Casino in Eastleigh, Nairobi, chased him, caught up with him, and proceeded to stone him to death in a nearby street. “He was not prepared to lose,” one witness to the attack told AFP news agency. Looks like he did, in the worst possible way.
